Big News! 2009 District Conventions moved OUT OF STATE!
by sacolton inmy jw wife told me today that the 2009 oklahoma district conventions will not be held in our state.
the tulsa area will have to go to fort smith, arkansas and the central oklahoma area will have to go to witchia, kansas!

This seems to be happening more and more often now and might very well be due to the high cost of renting a relatively large stadium
for 3 days today.
So in an effort to save costs they have to locate at an appropriate convention site and not break the bank.
A perfect example of this is actually here in Vancouver where for decades they have had the District Convention in a stadium
in the central part of Vancouver
it was costing too much so they moved it over 300 miles a way to a small town, at of course a lower cost.

So when one of those enormously huge asteroids hits the earth killing everything for miles around at the point of impact
that just one of gods little screw ups then ? If thats the case then we can only give him a C+ average on his creation score.

brad pitt was good and i enjoyed the film.
cate blanchet is brilliant, a very enjoyable thought provoking film.....did anyone else see it?.

I saw and it and found it to be interesting and enjoyable and yes Cate Blanchete did a wonderful job again as she has to be one the best actresses working to day
and Brad Pit did a fine job as well.

Actually, in the near future, a certain group of people from the Brotherhood will claim they are the true followers of Jesus and will reveal themselves as the Enlightened Ones. They will give a tall tale about how they 'regrouped' when the Vatican took control of religious knowledge. Many people will believe their spiel. They will claim to have the knowledge to save mankind; to bring light to the world. They will speak of the Universal Laws of Nature....such as taking personal responsibility, and survival of the fittest. There is a plan; a method behind the madness. It is time to once again cull humanity and play with higher genetics.

Yes some mouses have the ability to zoom a page and that is what I do, or if your using Internet Explorer 7 there is a zoom control
on the bottom right hand task bar that will also enlarge the page

12 Pt. seems to be about right
This is 14 Pt. on my monitor it looks a bit big
Remember the higher the resolution of your monitor the smaller the text will be ( 14 Pt. text size )
Also the newer monitors in the 20" range and above operate in the 1600 X 1??? resolution. ( Default text size )
